CS took all five points from this match against winless Shelford with hooker Josh Forrester completing four of them. After 2 minutes CS used a penalty to kick to the corner. The line out was secured and crisp passing from the backs found right wing Pumalo Banda, a late injury replacement who scored in the corner for the first of his two tries, fly half Liam Cleary was unable to add the conversion 5 – 0. Ten minutes later from a clean line out the pack drove to the line and Josh Forrester scored the first of his four tries, followed shortly later by left wing Zac Stamp scoring in the corner 15 – 0. On half an hour CS were awarded a penalty in front of the posts which they kicked to the corner, enabling Josh Forrester to score at the end of another line out drive. The fifth was down to a great break by flanker Will Scott who fed Forrester to score. The half time score was therefore 25 – 0, and shortly after the restart scrum half Adam Nixon broke from the base of the scrum and sliced through to score in the corner. Josh Knight took over the kicking responsibilities and duly converted, before Shelford kicked the ball to the far corner resulting in a try which they converted. Josh Knight converted his second 39 – 7. Centre Ryan Martin scored before Pumalo Banda scored his second with the final score 51 – 7.
Next week 1st December CS are away to second placed Westclif
